Going through my old pictures - I think these were taken before I got my first digital camera. Dated July 2005, they were taken at Edgecliff station during one of the many, many station closures for trackwork and show that city rail was rubbish even then. That it has taken until 2010 for the NSW government to find itself in serious trouble is testament to the insularity of Sydneysiders. They never seemed to realise that people living anywhere just didn’t have to put up with it.
